Housing Counseling Certification
This combination of courses will prepare counselors to utilize their knowledge to assist clients in a variety of housing situations. Depending on the selection of courses, counselors will be able to work with clients seeking to purchase a home, securing rental housing, assisting victims of natural disaster, or those individuals in need of temporary housing. This certification is designed to provide counselors with a hollistic perspective on the many types of housing concerns clients may face.
Foreclosure Counselor Certification
The courses required for this certification are for individuals that are specializing in assisting clients through the foreclosure process. It will prepare counselors to navigate the range of options available for such individuals and working with clients to determine the appropriate solutions.
Housing Counseling Management Certification
Managing a housing counseling agency is a unique balance of structuring staff and the volume of clients to maximize the level of productivity and efficiency based on current funding availability. This certification assists individuals in management roles within a housing counseling agency to learn strategies that are tailored to the unique characteristics of their local communities. Each community has a variety of needs that must be considered in order to ensure that clients are receiving the highest quality service to assist in their housing needs.
